The homeowner did not have any previous equipment in the home. They were showing signs of hard water and iron in their toilets, tubs and appliances. We removed the iron with the iron filter (EVFE-1248) and stopped the damage to their appliances with the water softener (ES-1044).
Mr. and Mrs. L live in a place where water softeners are a necessity to increase longevity of household appliances and fixtures. When their water softener was no longer providing working grade water, they spoke with one of our Inspectors who presented at their place of work and set up a FREE consultation with our Project Coordinator. After finding 42gpg of hardness coming through the lines, and 1.5ppm of chlorine coming from the city, we found that the EVRC was the best fit. The carbon in the EVRC helped to pull the chlorine out of the water so that it no longer had the chemical smell or taste, and their 42gpg was brought down to 0-3gpg range to increase the efficiency and lifespan of their in-home fixtures.
Mr. L was experiencing hardness breakthrough, and in addition to that, his water softener was leaking as well. With numerous concerns, it was time to look for a replacement; Mr. L went with the EVR that now provides softened water and is no longer worried about the functionality of his water softener.
Homeowner currently was using a competitors iron filter and softener and was getting iron staining. They were looking to update and have minimal equipment because there was not a lot of space in the basement. We installed an EV2-1054 which is an all in one iron filter and softener and solved all of their water issues.
Homeowner was having iron breakthrough and sulfur smell throughout the home. We installed a backwash filter (EVAIR-1054) for iron and/or sulfur to fix their problems.
Mr. and Mrs. C were having issues with an older water softener that was already in place when moving into their new home. After testing their water and speaking with them, the best solution was to move forward with a new EVRS. The EVRS does not have the issues that the older softener had and is providing softened all through out the home now.
Homeowner was looking to upgrade to the newest water technology. We supplied him with a EVRS Water Softener, and EVFE Iron FIlter and an Ultro Flow Reverse Osmosis water filtration system.
Mr. and Mrs. G were having concerns about their water softener that was aging and allowing iron to break through and cause staining. After setting up a consult and having our Project Coordinator go to the home and assess what was going on; we found that the old softener was iron fouled and was actually the source of the staining. After moving forward with an EVRS, we no longer had a unit that was bleeding iron and it is now providing consistently softened water.
Mr. and Mrs. A began noticing a difference in their water quality, and after our annual maintenance visit, we found that hard water was breaking through their older water softener. After discussing their different options, we found that the EVR was going to work best for them because of the salt efficiency that it would bring with their existing water conditions. Now they are as salt efficient as ever and their water is being softened.
