We had a customer who just moved into a new home and noticed a rotten egg smell in the water. This was a bit unexpected and the customer did not want the smell in the water. They gave us a call too see what we could do for them. We sent out a project coordinator to test the water and see what we have going on. After some testing we found a slight amount of sulfur in the water, the water softener in place is not designed to remove sulfur so this is why the customer was getting the odor in the water in the house. We recommend out EVS sulfur filter and the customer agreed and went with the install. After a clean and quick install the customer was happy with the clean non-smelling water in the new home!
We had an existing customer reach out because it was time for his old water softener to be replaced. Last year on a service call we recommend to replace the softener soon because it was on its last legs and was struggling to soften the water in the home. The customer left for the winter, but now that they are back in the home, they wanted to take care of it. We sent out a project coordinator to go over some new softener options. After some tests and discussions with the homeowner, they went with the ES water softener. After a quick and clean install, the customer is happy to have soft water again in the home!
A customer reached out to us regarding iron in her water. She had been talking with her neighbors about the iron in her water, and they told her they had purchased an iron filter from us, and it was working great to remove the iron. We set up a time for one of our project coordinators out to test the water and see what we could do. After some tests we found enough iron that would be causing stains on anything the water touches. We recommend installing and iron filter to remove the iron from the water, the customer agreed and got a install scheduled. After a quick and clean install, the customer was very happy not to have iron in the water anymore!
A customer called that their softener was no longer working and did not know what was wrong with it. A service technician was sent out to get the equipment running again, but upon arrival they concluded the softener had pretty well destroyed itself. It had broken parts rattling around inside the housing. Instead of fixing the softener, the homeowner decided replacement of a 20 year old softener was probably better than fixing it, so a project coordinator was scheduled to facilitate choosing between our model options and to test the water in the home to make sure we were suggesting the best options.
The customer chose to have a ES-1044 installed to treat their water hardness and prevent hard water marks or build up on their glass, bathrooms and appliances.
A service technician was sent out to fix a leaking softener, but when they arrived they quickly realized that there was a catastrophic failure and the whole softener would have to be rebuilt.
Instead of rebuilding their 20+ year old softener the customer decided to replace it instead. After having a conversation with our Project Coordinator they chose our EVR-1044U. This system has WET, our water and salt saving programming, and is Wi-Fi capable for remote monitoring and settings access.
The homeowner also decided to join our maintenance program for preventative service, salt deliveries and a lifetime warranty of the equipment. With how salt efficient the softener is, this product, in conjunction with the maintenance plan, is a mostly install and forget set up. The customer may only need to check on the system once a year before we are back out to tend to the system for them.
