Originally the homeowner called and set up an appointment for a salt delivery to her home.  Upon arrival, our technician Kyle found that both the water softener and the iron filter were leaking from the head of the unit.  He discussed replacing those parts but the homeowner decided to she wanted to just replace the units. He scheduled a consultation for Nate, our retail manager to come out to discuss option.  

Nate presented the homeowner with a few different options and they decided on a ES-1044 softener and EVFE-1248 iron filter.  Our technician, Shae, then went out to the home in just a few short days to install her brand new equipment and brought her enough salt for the year at the same time.

We had a customer of ours reach out because their treatment equipment was getting old and starting to have issues. We sent out one of our project coordinates to see what we could do to help. After testing the water, we found we had a bit of everything in the water. The current equipment in the home was an iron filter and water softener and an inline filter. After going over some options they decided to go with the EV2. With this system, there is no need for an iron filter. The EV2 uses a mineral called CR-200 or zeolites, this is different from the resin used in a standard softener. With the CR-200 we can remove more iron than a standard softener. The homeowner liked only having to take care of one system. After a clean and quick install, the homeowner is now enjoying their water again!

Mr. and Mrs. C. were experiencing a black/grey film that built up in the toilets. This was something they wanted cleaned up immediately and so a Project Coordinator was sent out right away. After in person testing and observation, it was found that they had precipitated sulfur. In addition to the sulfur, they had higher levels of iron that were harming the existing water softener. The recommended form of treatment was the EVFE iron filter that is capable of handling lower levels of sulfur and high amounts of iron all at once. After this additional treatment and chlorination of the water lines, Mr. and Mrs. C. found themselves protecting their water softener and now removing the sulfur that was causing the nasty grey film in their toilets.
