Mr. M. called us to see if we could come out to see why his water treatment equipment was not working. Sometimes the unit would regen and sometimes it would not. Nate, our retail manager, went to visit the homeowner and check out the equipment. He found that one part was not working on the softener and he was able to fix that. He also noticed that the iron filter pack was jammed and the unit wouldn't run properly. He recommended that he replace that unit. Mr. M. agreed and we installed an EVFE-1248 Iron filter. Everything is working properly now.
Mr. and Mrs. B. live in Kaukauna, Wisconsin where it is well known that hard water is an issue. When they started to notice that their old softener wasn't working, they reached out. Because of the many customers we have in the Kaukauna area, we had a good idea what the water conditions were, but we still sent Project Coordinator to get all the information necessary to find what was going to be the best fit for Mr. and Mrs. B. After receiving test results and scoping plumbing, all options were shown to the homeowners and they found that the best fit was our EVRS water softener. The EVRS has some similarities to our elite softener, but a few differences as well and this is perfect for our new Kaukauna customers.
Mr. and Mrs. V. were experiencing brown pieces of sediment in their water and decided to give us a call. After sending one our Project Coordinators out to the home for further inspection, it was found that their water softener was also not softening the water at all. We found that well casing was causing some mechanical issues with the water softener so a sediment filter was recommended to protect the treatment equipment, as well as the home. In regards to the water softener, we found that our EVRS model was the best fit for them. They now are protected from the sediment and have a fully functioning water softener that provides them softened water all through out the day.
Mr. F. began to grow frustrated with his 5 year old water softener because it was still allowing iron staining to occur throughout the house. After Mr. F. had enough, he gave us a call after doing some research on companies that could help him with his water quality concerns. Naturally, we sent a Project Coordinator to the home in order to see first hand what problems Mr. F. was experiencing and to test water on site. After test results were had, it was found that there were levels of iron that were just too high for a water softener to handle. Our EVFE Iron Filter was recommended to capture all the iron and to protect the newer water softener. After installation, Mr. F. was no longer having iron staining in the home and he can be assured now that his water softener will have a longer life span now that it's protected by our EVFE Iron Filter.
The H. family had recently moved into their new home and a new feature to their home ownership was living on a well. They had only lived with municipal water in the past and they noticed build up all around the house. Once they found that their existing softener was not functioning properly, they reached out to a plumber because they didn't know otherwise. The original plumber they spoke with referred them to our office, and that's because not all plumbers are fully outfitted or capable of treating problem water like Wisconsin wells produce. A Project Coordinator found levels of iron that could cause staining and an extremely higher level of hardness after testing their water. The best fit was found to be our bigger EVRS model in order to keep up with the water usage and hardness levels. The family is no longer concerned about the water and now are able to pay less mindfulness to their new venture into home ownership with a well.
