The homeowners called the Clean Water Center because their water softener was many years old, and they were beginning to see scaling on their faucets and shower heads. A project coordinator came out to test the water and determined that the softener in place was struggling to keep up. The project coordinator went over water test results and options for new water softeners with the homeowners, who then decided to have our Expert Series water softener installed with our maintenance plan added on. Now, there is no more scaling or breakthrough of hard water in the home, and the homeowner can enjoy the comfort of knowing that their water softener will be well-maintained with annual service.

The homeowners called Clean Water Center for a consultation to discuss water softeners. Due to the smell, taste, and dryness of skin that can result from chlorine in the water, the homeowners were very interested in hard water solutions that would remove chlorine from the water as well. Chlorine is used to keep water safe as it makes its way to the home, but once it gets there, it is no longer necessary and can be removed. Our project coordinator discussed our AOERC model softener, which is our resin-carbon unit designed specifically to remove chlorine while softening the water. Now that the homeowners have had this system installed, they can enjoy soft water free of chlorine.

Tracy in Appleton called Clean Water Center asking to fix her backwashing filter, which was a rental taken over by a now closed company.  However, the existing system was not doing what she wanted out of her water treatment equipment.  After a conversation with a Project Coordinator, they decided to rent a EVRC which is a water softener that also has a section of activated carbon for city water chlorine treatment. Treating your chlorine for the whole home not only keeps away that pool-like smell but also lengthens the life of your water softener’s resin.

Mr. and Mrs. M had a 20+ year water softener that was leaking, and they found that it made most sense to look at newer, more efficient options. With their current water softener causing issues, we looked at our EVRS to be their solution. We were able to solve the leaking concerns, and provide a system that functions well with their water use and lifestyle; providing softened water in a clean manner.

Ms. Z. had a older water softener that was starting to show its age and letting hardness and iron through. After testing the water before and after the system we found it was no longer hardness and iron from the water. With the water conditions we were able to use our EV2 system that can removed high amounts of iron and hardness all in one! Ms. Z. also took advantage of our maintenance plan so we take care of the system so she does not have to worry!
