A homeowner in the area reached out to us because he had a old water softener that was not working anymore and wanted to have it replaced. We sent out a project coordinator to test the water and go over some options on what we recommend for replacement. After going over some options the customer went with the ES water softener. The ES softener is a economical softener that will delver a high quality of water on a budget. After a quick and clean install the homeowner is happy to have soft water again.
A customer of ours purchased a home that had a older water softener in it, they noticed when they moved in the water was not great. They had reached out to us to service the system but after some discussions we found out the system was old and the parts for this unit have been discounted. We recommended a project coordinator come out and see what we could do for a new system. After some tests of the water we recommend the EV2, this is an all in one unit that can handle high iron and hardness as well. The customer liked the idea of just a one tank system, after a quick and clean install the customer was happy to have clean water in the new home!
Mr. K. was new to well water and needed some help to know what he had and if it was working. Our project coordinator went out to see what Mr. K. had and how we could help. After testing the water and looking at the equipment we found the softener was working, but the chlorination de-chlorination system was not. We found that removing this system and replacing it with our EVS sulfur filter will be an easier and more efficient system. Mr. K. is very happy with the new system and that he no longer needs to fill the system with chlorine.
Mr. and Mrs. S had a 27 year old softener that finally reached it's end. Industry average for water softeners are 10-15 years, so a replacement was needed asap. After calling us and sending out a Project Coordinator for water testing and to scope plumbing, we were able to find what worked best for the household. Mr. and Mrs. S wanted to look into an option that allowed us to service their softener on a regular basis for them to have one less thing to address in the home themselves. So we found that the EVR with the maintenance plan was the best fit. It's our most salt efficient system that minimizes having to refill the salt and the maintenance plan allows us to provide multiple services once a year to keep things working longer than the industry average of 10-15 years with true effectiveness. The EVR should now be the last water softener they need in their current home.
Mr. W. lives in Menasha, WI on a particular road that is notorious for high levels of sulfur; sulfur gas causes rotten egg-like odor in the water. In the past he had gone through numerous pieces of equipment with different companies until he found us. Years ago he installed our EVS sulfur filter that has solved his sulfur problem. However, recently he started to notice a little bit of that smell breaking through once more and he had recently rebedded his media in the filter. A Project Coordinator was sent out and it was found that the well casing was coming up from the well and plugging up the valve to his sulfur filter and this was the cause of the break through. Well casing is common sediment to see come up from a well, but it can most definitely cause build up and damage. After finding the source of the problem, we installed our Twist II Clean sediment filter prior to all treatment equipment and for peace of mind, we installed a much smaller sulfur filter after all treatment as a fail safe. Mr. W. no longer is concerned about a foul odor in his home from the water.
