Ms. B. & Ms. M. had lived in Appleton for a short period of time before they started to notice white crusty build up around their home. They were recommended by a friend to speak with us because we had been able to help their friend out with their hard water issues. We sent out a Project Coordinator that went to the home in order to scope the plumbing situation and perform water testing. After the results were had on site, the Project Coordinator walked the homeowners through some water education and showed multiple options. Ultimately, because they were on city water and had chlorine in their water as well, they chose to go with our EVRC water softener that both softens the water AND removes chlorine/chemicals from municipal water. Now they have chemical-free soft water.
Mr. and Mrs. W. are existing customers of ours and they requested a service technician to take a look at their water softener because they were experiencing some problems. Our technician found that the entire power head was out of service and that a replacement water softener was deemed necessary. Mr. and Mrs. W. were able to continue the conversation with one of our Project Coordinators to go over the different options they had available. They found their our mid-level EVRS water softener was the best fit for them in terms of performance and capabilities. They now have a fully functioning water softener that is keeping up with their water usage and not flooding their basement.
Mr. and Mrs. E. have lived in their home for about 5 years and always had an odor in the water. Not only that, but orange staining was becoming worse as time progressed. They knew something needed to be done and because our sister company, Clean Water testing, had done their initial well inspection, they gave us a call to see what kind of solutions were available. After finding that they had hard water, enough iron to stain and sulfur gas present, we knew we had to improve their situation. While filters were an option, they wanted a "simple" solution. That's where our EV2 water conditioner came into play. The EV2 is capable of handling higher levels of iron, trace amounts of sulfur and softening the water under one umbrella. They no longer have to worry about any work done in the house, because the new appliances and fixtures to come will be protected.
Mr. V. has a shop that he uses both for business and personal reasons, but he found quickly that iron was an issue. He initially attempted to solve the issue himself and install an "iron filter" from a big box store, but it ultimately failed and allowed iron to pass through and cause horrendous staining throughout the shop. He then called us for help, so we sent out a Project Coordinator to assess the situation, and it was found that he had a very large amount of iron in his water; way too much for what he installed to handle. The best solution we found was to install our TWIST II CLEAN sediment filter, followed by two of our EVFE iron filters because of how high his iron was. Mr. V. can now use water without any concern over the iron causing any further issues.
Mr. and Mrs. T. had one of our "All-in-one" water softeners that handles hardness, high iron and some odor, but they were looking for iron treatment on the outside faucets as well. It would not have been efficient to run outside lines through their existing softener because it would cause more wear and tear at a faster rate and would also result in more salt usage. In order to get the most salt efficient set up and to fully treat iron inside and outside, we found that going to our EVFE iron filter and changing to a resin based water softener was best for the home and family. We have ALL lines plumbed through the iron filter, and only the inside lines fully treated with softened water as well. They now have iron free water everywhere without causing a shorter lifespan to the water softener.
