Customer called the Clean Water Center as he had an old water softener that no one could service, and he was talking to a friend about it, and the friend suggested him to call us.
He had an old Mermaid system that parts are no longer available for, so a Project Coordinator went out to the home to test the water and assess the basement for placement. He decided to have us install an EVRS-1044 water softener for his home, that we were able to install the next week for him.
This customer called as she had an old softener and seemed to be getting a lot of hardness breakthrough. A Project Coordinator went out to her home to test the water and make sure they get the correct equipment for their water conditions and household size.
After going through options, the customer decided to have us install an EVRS-1044 water softener a few day later.
Customer called the Clean Water Center as he had a older Kenmore softener that was no longer working and started leaking on them. He was planning on putting the house up for sale soon and wanted to make sure that they had a softener in place for when it was on the market, and so all of the new fixtures that he just replaced stayed nice and new.
A Project Coordinator went out to the home to test the water and check out the basement for installation. The city water that was coming into their home had 24 gpg of hardness. Only 2 people lived in the home at the moment, but he wanted to set it up so if a family of 5-6 moved in, it would be sufficient for them. He decided to have us install an ES-1054 water softener. We were able to get him on the schedule the next week.
A customer called the Clean Water Center as his water softener was getting old, and he wanted to upgrade. He was also doing some renovations in the basement and wanted it moved to a different section of the basement.
A Project Coordinator went out to the home to test the water and discuss options with him. The current softener was working but he liked the salt savings that came with an upgrade. They decided to go with the EVRS-1044 water softener. We were able to install it at the customer's desired time/date and also move it to the part of the basement that they wanted it moved to.
This customer called the Clean Water Center as they had worked with us in the past. They have been living in the house for over 30 years, and all of a sudden started smelling a rotten egg smell in their water, and the water was coming out grayish at times as well, but only in the master bathroom upstairs. A Project Coordinator went out to meet the customers at their house to assess the situation.
After testing the water, they were able to find that there is 1.5ppm of iron in the water, a trace amount of sulfur smell, and saw that there was grayish water coming out of the faucet in the master bathroom. They did not find that anywhere else.
The Project Coordinator explained that the sulfur, because it is a gas, can find it's way to the highest level of the house, and cause issues there. They decided that installing an EVFE-1054 Iron Filter to help with the iron, and the sulfur, would help them with their water concerns. They also decided to install a new EVR-1044 water softener at the time, as the current one was old, and add the new softener and Iron filter to a maintenance plan, so that we could help them maintain it and deliver them their salt.
They can now go back to enjoying clean, good smelling water.
