Jim just moved into a home in Winneconne that had no water treatment equipment. He knew the area, like most of Wisconsin, had very hard water and wanted to protect his home from the damage Calcium and Magnesium can cause.
A Project Coordinator was sent to his home to test water and suggested a water softener that was sized correctly for his home and fit within his budget. Jim decided on the ES-1044.
We had a customer of ours that had a water softener and filter in place and it was struggling to keep up with the water conditions. One of our service techs recommended to look into new equipment. We sent out a project coordinator to see what equipment would work best for the water conditions. After some testing we found the iron was much higher then a few years ago, this could be why the old equipment was struggling. After some discussion we found the EVR water softener and EVFE iron filter would be the best solution. After a quick and clean install the customer is now happy with good, clean water!
This homeowner just moved into the house a few days before she called us. The smell of the water had an overwhelming sulfur smell. She decided to call us for service, as the previous homeowner had worked with us. After checking out her softener, the service tech found that it was working as it should, but the sulfur was way more than it could handle. He suggested an Iron Filter as there was a decent amount of iron as well, and the Iron Filter will help combat the Iron and the Sulfur smell, and help prolong the life of the softener.
We were able to get the Iron Filter installed the next day for them, so that they could enjoy much cleaner, better smelling water.
The customer called as they started seeing a lot of iron staining around the house, and the water had a horrible rotten egg smell to it. They called Clean Water Center, and one of our Project Coordinators went out to test the water and go over solutions.
The Project Coordinator found 4ppm of iron and a trace amount of sulfur in the water, and an old Mermaid Brand softener, that was not working properly anymore. After going over solutions, the customer decided it was best to get a new softener and add an iron filter to help with iron concerns and keep the softener working better and longer.
Mr. and Mrs. P had an old softener that was not working. They wanted to buy new appliances but wanted to ensure that they were protected from the 23 GPG of hardness that they had in the water. After a meeting with the Project Coordinator, they decided to get a new Water Softener installed and purchase the Maintenance plan with it so that we could help them protect/maintain it for them and deliver out their salt.
