This customer was building a home and had not moved in yet, but had been moving stuff slowly in. They started finding staining in the brand new toilets already from the iron in the water. They wanted to get water treatment in before more staining and issues started happening.
A Project Coordinator went out to the home, and tested the water for the family. They found the water to have 3 ppm of iron in it. No wonder they were finding Iron staining already. The Hardness was at 17 gpg with 5 people expected to be in the home.
After going through the options and having another company come out for another estimate, they decided to have us install an
EVFE-1054 Iron Filter with an EVRS-1044 water softener. They were curious about Reverse Osmosis, but decided to hold off for now as they had many other things to pay for with the new home build.
The family was able to move in right after, and be confident that their water won't ruin new fixtures and appliances in their new home!
This customer had an older, competitor's unit in their house and wanted to upgrade. A friend had referred them to the Clean Water Center, and they gave us a call. A Project Coordinator went out to their house to assess the water and basement for placement.
