Ms. C. had moved into a condo that was about 11-12 years old and knew the previous homeowners took their water softener with them. Shortly after experiencing the hard city water, she knew she wanted to look at water softener options. She talked to friends who recommended a phone call to us, and after consulting with Ms. C. we found that our advanced EVR water softener was the best fit because it is the most salt efficient system and simplifies owning a water softener. She also opted into our Maintenance Plan that entails once a year service with salt delivery so that it's one less thing for her to worry about.
With a softener and iron filter nearly 12 years old, this homeowner decided it was time to replace. After meeting with our Project Coordinator and going over their specific water results. It was decided that the Evolve Softener and Evolve Iron Filter would be the best combination to give them quality water for years to come.
Mr. S had an older water softener that was stuck in it's regeneration cycle and was recommended a new water softener. After testing water to see what the best fit would be for his extremely hard water, we chose to go with the EVRS that was going to handle the hardness of the water and the small amounts of iron that was present as well.
Mr. and Mrs. S had moved into a new home that had a well as the water source and noticed a rotten-egg like smell, and it wasn't the most appealing to drink either. The equipment that was there addressed sulfur and the hardness of the water, but was unable to do so successfully. We applied our EV2-1054-MIN in this case because it's our "All-in-one" system; it can handle higher iron levels, some odor, and hard water, so in order to save our customers on cost and potential maintenance, we went with this option that had the Lifetime Warranty. To address their drinking water quality, we also installed our State Certified Ultroflow Reverse Osmosis that provides an 80%-98% reduction in everything else that is in the water. This system provides bottled water quality from their on water source. They now have odor free water and enjoy drinking the water on a regular basis.
Customer called the Clean Water Center as she was over the odor from her water as well as how much it was staining her fixtures in the home. She has a water softener, but was looking for additional equipment to help with the staining and the smell.
A Project Coordinator went out to the house to test the water and assess the situation. They found a prominent Sulfur smell, and 2 ppm of iron in the water. She had a softener and an in-line filter that she was sick of having to change out every few weeks. After they assessed that the current water softener was working, the customer decided to have us install an Iron Filter to help with her main concern of iron and sulfur. We took out the in-line filter, as she will no longer need to replace those filters for the iron.
