This customer had been renting an iron filter for almost 20 years, and he was finding iron staining and a smell coming from his water. A service technician went out to the house for a service call and found that the old unit needed to be replaced. The customer decided he wanted to purchase new equipment instead of continuing to rent so we installed an EVFE-1252 Iron Filter. We were able to install the next day, so that the customer did not have to deal with the iron or smell in their water anymore.
Customer called the Clean Water Center, as he currently has a water softener installed, but is finding a lot of iron staining throughout his house. His water softener is a little older and was installed by the homeowner himself.
A Project Coordinator went out to the house to test the water and assess the current equipment. After testing the water, they found 24 gpg of hardness, 3 ppm of iron and a slight sulfur smell in the water from the well.
The homeowner and Project Coordinator went over options, and after listening to the homeowner, they decided to install an EVFE-1054 Iron Filter for the moment. This will help with the sulfur smell and any more iron coming into the home. The Project Coordinator educated the customer that he may still see some iron coming into the house, released by the older softener that has been dealing with 3ppm of iron for a number of years, she gave the homeowner some tips to try to keep this from happening, and the homeowner understood that he may need a new softener sooner than later due to this reason.
We installed the Iron filter, and the homeowner will be able to enjoy their water much better now.
The customer had just had service done on the water softener, and the technician stated that the Iron Curtain that they currently had in the home, is old, and would probably need replacing soon. The customer decided that she did not want to wait for it to fail, and decided she wanted to discuss getting a new one installed.
A Project Coordinator went out to the home to assess the basement, current equipment, and current water conditions and went over recommendations for replacement. The softener was working fine, so the customer decided to have us install a new EVFE-1054 Iron Filter. We installed a few days later, and the customer will not have to worry about having any staining from the 3 ppm of iron that is in the water.
This customer had a service appointment for us to change out the filters in her Reverse Osmosis. When the service tech went to the home, he found that the RO was very old and that we do not have the filters for this unit. The Tech discussed with the customer that she could try to find a company that supplied them, but because of the age, he recommended a new RO.
The customer decided to have us replace her older Kinetico Reverse Osmosis with our ClearFlo Reverse Osmosis drinking system.
The homeowner called into the Clean Water Center as they had just moved in to their newly built home, and needed water treatment equipment as they were finding clear signs of calcium build up around their faucets and fixtures.
A Project Coordinator went out to the home to assess the situation and find a good place for the install. After finding the city water to have 20 gpg of hardness, it was no wonder they were finding the calcium build up. The problem they faced was the plumbing in the basement. The only drain was about 30 feet away from the first inlet of the city water to the home. Not a big problem, just needed to figure out the perfect way to coordinate the install so that the whole home would run through the softener, and they could still get to the drain, and allow the customer to possibly furnish the basement in the future. After figuring out the solution, the homeowner decided to have us install the EVRS-1044 water softener.
