Clean Water Center Before & After Photos

This homeowner recently purchased a home and was looking for water treatment. The previous homeowner had a shower space in the basement that the new homeowner wasn’t going to ever use. It made the perfect place for an installation of a water softener. An EVR-1044U was installed on an optional Maintenance Plan by Clean Water Center, a WI-FI capable system with a low salt alarm and eligibility for a lifetime warranty and annual preventative maintenance.

We had an existing customer of ours reach out to use because they had purchased a shop on well water and they had a lot of orange stains and and bad smell on the hot water. We sent someone out to test the water and see what we had going on and to see if we could fix it. After some tests we found a high amount of iron and iron bacteria. The iron in the water was staining anything it touched and the iron bacteria was causing the bad odor on the hot water. We recommended a iron filter to remove the iron and the odor defender to remove the bacteria. The odor defender uses a hydrogen peroxide mix to disinfect the water all the time. After the install the customer is happy to have clean water again!  

In 2003 Clean Water Center bought out Homite water treatment. Homite had rental equipment installed in some homes CWC inherited and some of it is still operating. This customer had some older treatment equipment that was finally due to be replaced. A Project Coordinator from CWC came out to the home and tested the water to make sure they got the right equipment for the conditions and updated his rental equipment to something much more modern.

We had a customer of ours who just moved into a home that had an existing softener in it. After some weeks in the home they noticed iron build up and stains in the tub. We first serviced the softener and during that time we found a higher amount of iron that is too much for a softener to handle. We suggested to look into something to treat the iron on its own, and set up a time for a project coordinator to come out too the home to see what would work best. After going over options with the customer they decided on the EVFE iron filter. This filter uses air to oxidize the iron so it can be filtered out. After a quick and clean install the homeowner no longer needs to worry about iron!   

The average water softener will last about 8-12 years depending on the water conditions and the amount of water it treats on a regular basis. When that happens, most homeowners have a choice. Have the system repaired or replace the system. Clean Water Center’s process is to have a Project Coordinator come out and evaluate the situation and come up with custom solutions for the individual home and residents. In this situation the homeowner decided replacement was the way to go, so an install was scheduled that day for a technician to install an EVRS-1054, a system sized appropriately for the water conditions and the size of the family which features like adaptive regenerations and reserve capacity that will help the homeowner keep their water clean and working for them rather than against them.
