Mr. W. called our office because he was noticing orange staining in the toilets and sinks. We sent out our project coordinator to see what we had going on. After testing the water, we found a high amount of iron that the existing water softener could not handle. After talking with the customer, we found the EVFE iron filter will take care of his iron issues. We also discussed replacing the water softener because of the years of iron it has been exposed too. Mr. W. wanted to keep the current softener and replace it down the road. After the new iron filter was installed there was no more iron getting into the home. Mr. W. is happy he no longer needs to keep cleaning the iron off everything!

We had a customer reach out to us because he was building a new house. He was concerned that the water was going to ruin the new faucets and plumbing in the home. We sent out one of our project coordinators to see what we could do to help. After testing the water, we found it was hard. After going over our softeners we found the EVR was the best solution. With the W.E.T. that comes with the EVR, we will be able to reduce the salt and water used during the regeneration if it’s not needed. After a nice and clean install, the new homeowner can enjoy his new home with nice soft water!

Mr. and Mrs. W. moved into their home and immediately noticed that they were having water quality issues. The biggest issue was staining. They initially had a technician come out to work on an "all-in-one" system that was present, but they found extensive repairs that were needed. After talking with the homeowners, it was agreed that a replacement would be best due to the water concerns/issues and what they wanted for water quality. A Project Coordinator came out for further assessment and it was found that our EVFE iron filter was the best fit to address the iron because it can capture both ferric and ferrous iron. We would follow up the EVFE with the EVR water softener, and this was because the EVR is the most salt efficient and most intelligent system. They now have crystal clear water that isn't staining the house and a water softener that is protected and intended to last them even longer. 

After the customer moved into their new home they had some concerns with white spotting and orange staining. After a discussion with our team on their options, the customer decided on a new iron filter and softener.

A customer contacted the Clean Water Center, they had an old water softener that was no longer working. After a consultation with someone from out staff the customer understood that they not only had hardness, common in NE Wisconsin wells, but also had iron in the water. Traditional resin water softeners are rated to treat some level of certain types of iron. After discussion with our Project Coordinator they decided on an EVRS-1054. The customer will have to use a resin cleaner regularly or use iron inhibiting salt.
