Iron Issues In Oshkosh, WI
Challenge
A customer of ours that we installed a new water softener 8 months ago was very happy with the new system. But in the last couple months they had got some iron stains in the bathrooms. With just remodeling them they did not want it to ruin the new tubs. We sent out a project coordinator to investigate.
Solution
We first ran the unit and it was cycling as it should and showed no apparent issues. We decided to test the well water to see if we had a change in water conditions. After some testing we found the iron had spiked to a level that the softener could not handle. We discussed this with the customer and recommended adding an iron filter in. The customer agreed that would be the best for them. After installing the iron filter the customer no longer has to worry about iron issues!
