Challenge

New homes are becoming a bit of a challenge for us to install in. More and more new homes split their outside water taps and indoor water fixtures right where the main water line enters the home. Which is good, however some homes main line and drainage possibilities are not close together, and power is usually very limited in basements.

Solution

Thankfully in some homes, this is not the case. This home in particular, the contractors must have been thinking about water treatment. 

The sump pit had an open port for us to drain to, the power outlet had two plugs instead of the common one and it was put in right next to the main.
