New Lake House Needs Water Treatment in Green Lake, WI
Challenge
Customer was having a new house built and called the Clean Water Center as he was interested in a water filtration system that would work best for their new lake house. The homeowner does not live in the area and would not be able to be there for the consultation, so the Project Coordinator met the home builder at the site to assess the water, equipment that was put in, and see what kind of solutions the homeowner might need.
Solution
A Project Coordinator went to assess the situation, and found they had a water softener in place, and found that the plumber had set up the house for extra lines that could be used for a Reverse Osmosis system. After the initial assessment the Project Coordinator was able to call the homeowner and ask questions, so that she could recommend the perfect solutions for the new house. The homeowner explained that they hope to have multiple families out to their lake house at times, where there could be up to 15-20 people in the house at a time. He noted that the water would need to be able to accommodate multiple people using showers at the same time. One thing that the Project Coordinator noted, was that the softener that was installed was not large enough for that, and would not be able to give the proper water pressure for a concern like that. The homeowner, also mentioned that he wanted a drinking system for the household as well, that they could use for cooking as well.
The Project Coordinator recommended a larger water softener, the EVR-1354, and a reverse osmosis system with a 20 gallon storage tank in order to accommodate his needs if they were to have a good amount of people enjoying the Lake with him.
The customer agreed, and should not find any issues with the water when he hosts some great parties at his new house in Green Lake!
