Brand New Home With Hard and Chlorinated Water in Germantown, WI
Challenge
The customer just moved into a newly built beautiful home and started to see signs of hard water. They also did not like the amount of Chlorine that was coming into the house from the city. The chlorine was had such a strong odor, and was drying out their skin and making them itchy so they called the Clean Water Center.
Solution
We sent out a Project Coordinator to the house to assess the water and speak with the new homeowner. They found 25 gpg of hardness and the chlorine levels coming in at .5ppm. After going through the equipment, the customer decided to have us install and EVRC-1054 water softener, which will help them take care of both of their concerns with the water. With the Carbon filter on top of the softener, the household will be happy that they no longer have to smell/taste the chlorine in the water, and should find their skin less dry and itchy.
