High Iron in Grafton, WI
Challenge
Mr. and Mrs. G. where getting lots of orange staining in the sinks and tubs. They have only been in the house for a few years, and were unfamiliar with water treatment. We sent out one of our project coordinators to see what they had going on with their water.
Solution
After testing the water, we found a very high amount of iron in the water. The current iron filter in place was a two-tank system and was failing to keep up. We recommend out EVFE iron filter. The EVFE is a one tank system that is much more efficient then a two-tank system. There are a lot less moving parts on a one tank system and when it regenerates it will clean the whole tank versus the two tank that can only clean the one. Mr. and Mrs. G. decided to replace the iron filter with the EVFE. After the new EVFE was installed there was no longer any iron staining in the house!
