The homeowner was dealing with constant, aggressive staining throughout their home. Orange and brown discoloration kept appearing on sinks, fixtures, and even laundry, with no clear explanation. What they didn’t realize was that high iron levels in their water were the root cause silently creating buildup and making every day cleaning a constant struggle. We installed a high-efficiency iron filter along prior to their water softener to fully treat the water. The results were immediate no more staining, no more guesswork, and no more frustration. With the iron removed and the water softened, their home is now protected, and everything stays clean, clear, and easy to maintain.
The homeowner did not have any previous equipment in the home. They were showing signs of hard water and iron in their toilets, tubs and appliances. We removed the iron with the iron filter (EVFE-1248) and stopped the damage to their appliances with the water softener (ES-1044).
Sometimes city water conditions change. The city changes treatment processes or change where they get the water from. Wrightstown went through a change several years back and a lot of people have water treatment that is outdated and not optimized for their new conditions. This customer had one of those outdated systems. An updated system will be more salt efficient, use less water and with annual maintenance will likely last a lot longer than the previous one.
Mr. and Mrs. M. were having iron issues although they had an "all-in-one" water softener that was intended to care for high levels of iron. After a Project Coordinator tested their water, it was found that they had a specific kind of iron called, ferric iron. This iron is in sediment form and is only able to be captured by a true iron filter. After Mr. and Mrs. M. continued with the recommended EVFE iron filter, they found that their iron issues were now taken care of and claimed to now be taking showers in the "whitest showers" they've ever had.
We had a customer reach out to us to see if we could service the RO that was in the house they had just moved into. We were unable to service the unit. The customer was could not find filter replacements as well. We sent out one of our project coordinators too see what kind of replacements would be best. After checking things out we replaced the old RO with a Ultro Flo RO system. We also noticed the kitchen cold that supplied the RO was not softened. We switched this over so the RO would produce the best water and not clog the filters. The homeowner was very happy with the new RO system so they can have clean drinking water in the home.
