Tracy in Appleton called Clean Water Center asking to fix her backwashing filter, which was a rental taken over by a now closed company. However, the existing system was not doing what she wanted out of her water treatment equipment. After a conversation with a Project Coordinator, they decided to rent a EVRC which is a water softener that also has a section of activated carbon for city water chlorine treatment. Treating your chlorine for the whole home not only keeps away that pool-like smell but also lengthens the life of your water softener’s resin.
Mr. and Mrs. M had a 20+ year water softener that was leaking, and they found that it made most sense to look at newer, more efficient options. With their current water softener causing issues, we looked at our EVRS to be their solution. We were able to solve the leaking concerns, and provide a system that functions well with their water use and lifestyle; providing softened water in a clean manner.
Ms. Z. had a older water softener that was starting to show its age and letting hardness and iron through. After testing the water before and after the system we found it was no longer hardness and iron from the water. With the water conditions we were able to use our EV2 system that can removed high amounts of iron and hardness all in one! Ms. Z. also took advantage of our maintenance plan so we take care of the system so she does not have to worry!
Mr. & Mrs. M. had moved into a new home and took advantage of our sister company, Clean Water Testing, that works with well inspections and health and safety tests. From that relationship, they had us come out to see if the water softener that was pre-existing in the home was working. A project Coordinator went out to the home and tested the water for aesthetics like hardness, iron, odor, etc. It was found that sulfur and very high levels of iron were present and there was no way the softener there could handle those conditions, and that didn't include softening the hard water. We found it best to begin treatment with the EVFE that takes care of high levels of iron and some odor, we followed that with the EVR that is one of the most technologically advanced water softeners in the market currently, and then we finished treatment with a reverse osmosis system that provides purified water to two points of use. They now don't have to worry about the water staining, stinking and hurting their new home.
Mr. and Mrs. G had moved into their new home and they were now first time home owners on a well. The new home they moved into had one of our reverse osmosis systems that is state certified to remove Arsenic, a fleet farm water softener and a sediment filter prior to all other treatment equipment. After the inspection process for health and safety was done, we followed up with them after closing to go into the aesthetics of the water and give them some general information on maintenance and upkeep. After some time of being in the home, they realized that their water softener was failing and because we had already been out and had the information needed, we were able to provide them with our more economic water softener, the ES, and changed their sediment filter to our Twist II Clean sediment filter that allows for better flow to/through the softener. The family who never experienced well water is now set up with a new and better equipped water softener and sediment filter, which is allowing their reverse osmosis system to be as efficient as possible.
