We had a customer call us regarding their old water softener. With the age of the softener and the issues it was having we recommend looking into replacing the softener. We sent out a project coordinator to see what we could do. After testing the water and going over the options on softeners the customer decided on the EVR softener. The EVR is a very high efficient system that has a feature called W.E.T, this stands for water efficient technology. With this technology, we can reduce the water and salt used during the regeneration if its not needed. The customer should only use 4 bags a salt a year! The customer was very happy with the new softener and using less salt.

Customer called Clean Water Center looking to understand what best to do with their non-functioning water softener.  They also had questions on why they didn’t like the taste of their water much. After discussing replacing their softener with an EVRS-1044, the Project Coordinator mentioned that most people do not particularly like the taste of softened water and that reverse osmosis water is a bottled water quality system for at home use.

The homeowners called the Clean Water Center because their water softener was many years old, and they were beginning to see scaling on their faucets and shower heads. A project coordinator came out to test the water and determined that the softener in place was struggling to keep up. The project coordinator went over water test results and options for new water softeners with the homeowners, who then decided to have our Expert Series water softener installed with our maintenance plan added on. Now, there is no more scaling or breakthrough of hard water in the home, and the homeowner can enjoy the comfort of knowing that their water softener will be well-maintained with annual service.

Tracy in Appleton called Clean Water Center asking to fix her backwashing filter, which was a rental taken over by a now closed company.  However, the existing system was not doing what she wanted out of her water treatment equipment.  After a conversation with a Project Coordinator, they decided to rent a EVRC which is a water softener that also has a section of activated carbon for city water chlorine treatment. Treating your chlorine for the whole home not only keeps away that pool-like smell but also lengthens the life of your water softener’s resin.

Mr. and Mrs. M had a 20+ year water softener that was leaking, and they found that it made most sense to look at newer, more efficient options. With their current water softener causing issues, we looked at our EVRS to be their solution. We were able to solve the leaking concerns, and provide a system that functions well with their water use and lifestyle; providing softened water in a clean manner.
