Mr. V. has a shop that he uses both for business and personal reasons, but he found quickly that iron was an issue. He initially attempted to solve the issue himself and install an "iron filter" from a big box store, but it ultimately failed and allowed iron to pass through and cause horrendous staining throughout the shop. He then called us for help, so we sent out a Project Coordinator to assess the situation, and it was found that he had a very large amount of iron in his water; way too much for what he installed to handle. The best solution we found was to install our TWIST II CLEAN sediment filter, followed by two of our EVFE iron filters because of how high his iron was. Mr. V. can now use water without any concern over the iron causing any further issues. 

Mr. and Mrs. T. had one of our "All-in-one" water softeners that handles hardness, high iron and some odor, but they were looking for iron treatment on the outside faucets as well. It would not have been efficient to run outside lines through their existing softener because it would cause more wear and tear at a faster rate and would also result in more salt usage. In order to get the most salt efficient set up and to fully treat iron inside and outside, we found that going to our EVFE iron filter and changing to a resin based water softener was best for the home and family. We have ALL lines plumbed through the iron filter, and only the inside lines fully treated with softened water as well. They now have iron free water everywhere without causing a shorter lifespan to the water softener. 

A couple had moved into a new home and noticed hard water build up in their home and thought that their softener and iron filter should be looked at. A service technician was dispatched and after testing water and, after running diagnostic tests on the softener and iron filter, recommended that the softener be replaced and that an iron filter may no longer be necessary knowing that softeners can handle low levels of iron on their own.

The Project Coordinator verified the technicians testing and suggested a new softener, and if monitored, did not need an iron filter in the home. The homeowner decided on the EVRS-1044 on a Thursday and had it installed a few days later on Monday.

We had a customer of ours that had an old water softener in their home reach out because it was acting up. With the age and issues going on, we sent out a project coordinator to go over some new equipment options with them. After some water tests, we found some higher iron and sulfur in the water. The old water softener was not intended to treat high iron or sulfur, so I recommend adding an air charge filter to remove the iron and sulfur. The customer liked the sound of not having to smell water anymore. After the installation of the new softener and filter, the customer is very happy with the water conditions! 

We had a customer who had some water testing done in our state-certified lab for health and safety. After some tests, we found a high amount of arsenic. The customer wanted to take care of that and see if they could get better quality water in the home because they had been dealing with iron issues for a few years now. We sent out a project coordinator to test the water a little more and see what we could do for them. After some tests, we found high iron, and the old iron filter was not removing it anymore. After some discussions with the homeowners, they decided to use a new iron filter, water softener, and reverse osmosis to remove the arsenic. After a nice, clean, and quick install, the homeowners can now enjoy some clean water in the home!
