From Filters to a Long-Term Solution - WAUKESHA
Challenge
This customer recently moved into a new home that had three blue inline filters installed before the water softener. These filters were effective at removing the iron from the water, but they were not addressing the persistent sulfur smell. This is because sulfur requires an oxidation process to be fully removed which the inline filters were not capable of handling.
Solution
To resolve the issue, the project coordinator recommended an EVFE-1054. This unit features an air chamber that facilitates the oxidation of both iron and sulfur making it a two-in-one solution. It not only eliminates the iron in the water but also removes the sulfur smell. While inline filters may provide temporary relief from sulfur odors, they require frequent replacement. In contrast, the EVFE-1054 offers a long-term solution that eliminates the need for constant filter changes, effectively addressing both iron and sulfur issues.
