High Chlorine Watertown, WI City Water
Challenge
This customer found the Clean Water Center at the Oconomowoc Farmers Market. She had just moved into her home a bit ago, and the water was bothering her. She had a glass shower that was full of hard water stains, the Chlorine was so high it was all she could smell when the water was turned on, and she was concerned with other common issues that come with city water. She had a Reverse Osmosis system, but could not find new filters for it anymore.
Solution
A Project Coordinator went out to the home to assess the water and the basement for the equipment install. The customer had a softener already, but looked old, and had a bit of hardness breaking through. The Project Coordinator tested the water and found the Chlorine level to be very high as well.
The Project Coordinator recommended an EVRC-1054 Resin/Carbon water softener, to help with the hard water stains, and take care of the Chlorine to the whole home. Also recommended a new ClearFlo Reverse Osmosis for drinking/cooking. She decided to go on the maintenance plan so that we could help her take care of her new equipment and ensure that her water stays clean for the family.
The units were installed a few days later, and the customer is enjoying her water a whole lot more.
