EVRS-1044 water softener
Customer retired and decided to start remodeling a few things on his house. One of the things on his list from years ago was to put in a water softener. He decided to wait, as the city was moving to water from Lake Michigan and he was told he would not need one after that, as Lake Michigan water is not as hard as the rest of Wisconsin water.
Turns out the people who told him that were not correct, as the water was still hard and causing issues around his house. So he called the Clean Water Center to have us come out and test the water and offer up solutions.
A Project Coordinator went out and found that there was still 9 gpg of hardness from his water, which is enough to cause hard water issues around the house.
Customer decided to have us put in an EVRS-1044 water softener. When the technician installed the new equipment, he had to cut into one of the pipes for the install, and was able to show the customer the effects of what 9 gpg of hardness could do to the plumbing in a house, as the galvanized pipe was caked with hardness from the water. The customer was happy to see that he was making the right decision in putting in water treatment for his house.
