Brand New Home With Big Water Issues in Oconomowoc, WI
Challenge
This customer just built a new house in Oconomowoc, moved in and quickly found the water to be causing issue all around his new house. He was finding hard water issues on his new fixtures and his new bathroom was starting to turn orange from the iron in the water as well. He called the Clean Water Center so that we could assess the situation.
A Project Coordinator went to his house to test the water and offer solutions for his new home. After the testing, the Project Coordinator found the water to have 23 gpg of hardness and 5 ppm of iron. Of course he was finding a lot of staining across his new house!
Solution
The Project Coordinator recommended that a Water Softener and an Iron Filter would be the best solution to help him fix his water. The customer agreed and we were able to install an EVR-1044 water softener, and an EVFE-1354 iron filter as soon as the next week for him and his family. He also opted to purchase the maintenance plan, so that we can help him take care of his new equipment, and deliver him out salt once a year.
