Michael is originally from River Falls, Wisconsin. He attended the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point where he received his bachelor’s degree in soil science and pursued his master’s degree in groundwater resources. Michael has worked for New Page Paper, Calumet County Land and Water Conservation Department, and the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources as a remediation and redevelopment specialist and a water supply specialist. Mike has been with Water-Right's Clean Water Center for the past 15 years, is also the Lab Director of Clean Water Testing. Michael is a licensed pump installer, soil tester, and POWTS inspector. In his spare time, Michael enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, hunting, fishing, and hiking.
